How to get to Luster
Between Jostedalsbreen and Jotunheimen lies Luster, with the small fjord villages Marifjøra, Gaupne, Høyheimsvik and Luster.
South of Luster is Sogndal, and it takes about 30 minutes to drive from Sogndal to the small villages in Luster. From Jostedalen it takes about 30 minutes to drive to Gaupne. From Skjolden, which lies at the end of the Lusterfjord, it takes about 30 minutes to drive to Gaupne and about 12 minutes to Luster.

Scenic Route Sognefjellet
A short distance from Luster, you can also experience driving over the Scenic Route Sognefjellet, which is Northern Europe's highest mountain pass.
Airport
The nearest airport is Sogndal Lufthamn, Haukåsen, which is in Kaupanger. Check flight times here.
Expressboat to the Sognefjord
Every day throughout the year, the express boat from Bergen goes into the Sognefjord with a final stop in Sogndal, but from April to October it stops at Leikanger with a bus further inland to Sogndal and the boat goes on to Flåm. Check Norled's timetables here.
