There are several simple marked tours here, but also an eldorado for those who want to take the day trip on one of the high, steep mountain peaks.
Fjærland is not plagued by mass tourism, and if you go to one of the unmarked peaks, you will not meet anyone other than a sheep, a cow or perhaps a deer. Or if you're really lucky, you'll meet a local.
The mountain can be dangerous, and it is recommended that you use a guide/expert if you want to climb one of the unmarked peaks.
Fjærland Guiding mainly has local guides who grew up in the local area and know the tours.
