Fishing

The Haukedals and Jølstra Lakes are amongst the best trout lakes in Norway. The region is an Eldorado for sports and hobby fishermen. Within an hour by car you will find over 100 lakes and more than 10 rivers. The silver coloured trout has attracted fly fishers from Norway and England to Sunnfjord. We have 3 salmon rivers, which are Nausta, Gaula and Jølstra river. Nausta is one of the best salmon river in Norway. Gaula is most known for the fishing in Osfossen waterfall.
