The Sognefjord area offers fantastic summit terrain for freeriding from the mountain top to the fjord. Here you will find several ski resorts and smaller ski lifts with slopes for both experts and families. The two largest ski centers are Sogn Skisenter and Sogndal Skisenter which offers ski rental, ski school, beautiful children's slopes, café, toilet and the keykard Sognapass where you can ski in both of the two ski centers.
The mountains in the Sognefjord are perfect for ski touring freeriding due to the proximity to the glacier, so the snow is often cold and of good quality for long periods. Explore majestic landscapes, ski through unbroken snow and breathe in fresh mountain air.
