This is Sognasmak - from your local farmer

Our goal is to spread information and knowledge about regional food culture, raw materials and products.

We are proud that, together with regional farmers, we can contribute to bringing together and strengthening Sogn as a food region.

In addition to selling local food, we invest in training, courses, events and other research and educational projects linked to the production of fruit, vegetables, food and drink products.

As a company, we operate based on the principle of non-profit, and without dividend to the owners. Any surplus must be used to strengthen the company and the activities the company will run.

The good taste of Sogn - straight from the farmer

At Sognasmak, we know a lot about local food and drink - and we are happy to share both the knowledge and the tastes with you.

Together with the skilled farmers and producers around us, we have filled our 300 square meter store with some of the best taste experiences to be found in Sogn. The season rules the selection; from freshly harvested fruit, berries and vegetables to refined small-scale delicacies.

Located on Håbakken in Lærdal, we have excellent access to a wide selection of short-traveled raw materials, as well as regional products.

The vast majority of what we cook and serve here at Sognasmak is based on local, fresh produce.

We like to play a bit, experiment and challenge ourselves. We often take classic dishes from Sogn as our starting point, and make a new version of them.
