About

Alværa farm is beautifully situated by the Sognefjord, only 3 km. from Lavik which is a small town. Garden has its own, long shoreline, views of the Sognefjord, swimming area and large play area. By the sea there is a cozy common boathouse where you can grill and enjoy yourself.

Bring the family, maybe share the rent with a family of friends, and experience a real farm holiday in beautiful surroundings and magnificent nature by the Sognefjord in the west.

All units have free internet. The outdoor area is shared and there is access to rocky cliffs, a patio by the boathouse and a small beach for those who rent.

Boat rental:

You can rent a motor boat and sonar for fishing.

Outdoor life

Fuglefjellet (542 m) is a short drive away. In addition, arrangements have been made for shorter trips.

Accomodation

There are three outdoor units on the farm. The main house, the fire house and an apartment in the yard. The boathouse by the fjord can be rented for private events

The main house

The main house has 5 bedrooms, with a total of 11 beds, in addition to loft space. There are two bathrooms, a laundry room and a spacious kitchen, living room and a glazed veranda. There are duvets and pillows for the beds. You only bring your own bed linen, sheets and towels. This can also be rented, but then we should know it in advance so that we can have it in order when you arrive or you can pick it up yourself nearby. There is both a cot and a high chair in the house.

The cabin

The Apartment

The Apartment is a cozy and pretty apartment/room (22 square meters) with a comfortable sofa bed for two. Sofa bed, kitchen and dining area in one room. Small extra bedroom with a bed and bathroom with heating cables. Own entrance and cozy patio with furniture and afternoon sun. Perfect as a place to stay when passing through or if you want to spend a few days by the Sognefjord. By agreement, you can also gain access to the boathouse at the sea's edge.
