Naustdal is situated by the Førdefjord, between Førde and Florø. You can see Heilefjellet and the Glacier ”Blåfonna” from the centre of Naustdal. The beach ”Sanden” is Naustdal´s millenniums site. At Sanden there is a beautiful promenade, benches and statues made of local artists. ”Budeia” of Kjartan Slettemark and ”Kyra” of Oddvar Torsheim. The river Nausta is one of Norway´s best Salmon Rivers. In addition to river fishing you can enjoy freshwater fishing, hiking with a view and fjord cruises in Naustdal. Annually the art exhibition ”Vevringutstillinga” is arranged in Vevring. For the exhibition all spaces from barns to the community house are filled with art. This is one of Norway´s most important art exhibitions.
